sex ed should be...
For a young person to become confident in their body and their sexuality, they need access to information. The sex ed young people receive at school or at home is often not enough. Sex is too important to leave kids with unanswered questions and gaps in their knowledge, especially because they resort to seeking out that information on their own. Unfortunately, many turn to unreliable sources like their peers, or potentially dangerous ones like pornography.
Many adults believe that kids deserve access to information about sex, but don't feel comfortable providing it themselves, and often the time allocated for sex ed in schools is woefully insufficient. To fill this gap, Dr. Bayley offers independent sexual health education.
Dr. Bayley teaches middle-schoolers, high-schoolers, and adults. For pre-teens and teenagers, she offers small group sessions that run for six weeks. In these sessions, she focuses on age-appropriate topics, ranging from puberty and gender to consent and pornography. She also offers individual coaching and lectures to parents and caregivers on relevant topics such as The Sex Talks and Porn Is Not Sex Ed.
